THE BENEFITS
Supports Healthy Digestion
Raw food helps normalize and strengthen your dog’s digestive system by providing a natural balance of active enzymes. These enzymes aid in breaking down food and maximizing nutrient absorption. Feeding an enzyme-rich raw diet also reduces the strain on your dog’s organs to produce these vital enzymes, promoting more efficient and balanced digestion.
Helps Reduce Allergies
A grain- and gluten-free diet can help manage chronic yeast issues and common allergies. Grains contain natural sugars that can encourage yeast overgrowth. Métisse offers a more complete, biologically appropriate approach that supports optimal immune function.
By eliminating ingredients commonly found in kibble—such as artificial preservatives, excess gluten, grains, and colorants—and transitioning to a clean, grain-free diet, many dogs experience a noticeable reduction in allergic reactions.
Improves Muscle Tone and Joint Health
A diet rich in real meat supports lean muscle development while helping reduce excess body fat. Raw diets that include bone content—especially cartilage and marrow—naturally provide compounds like glucosamine and chondroitin, which support healthy joints. Lower carbohydrate levels also help minimize inflammation.
Promotes Healthy Skin and a Shiny Coat
A natural, raw diet contributes to a soft, glossy coat. This comes from the high nutritional value and intact essential fatty acids found in fresh, unprocessed meats and fats.
Firmer Stools, Less Odor
Dogs digest fresh, raw meat, bones, and vegetables more efficiently than processed grains and cooked meats. This results in better nutrient absorption, less waste, reduced odor, and smaller, firmer stools.

Serving & Storage Guidelines
1. Thaw
Thaw in the refrigerator the day before serving. For quicker thawing, leave the food out for a couple of hours in a cool, shaded place, or submerge the sealed package in cool water.
2. Measure & Serve
Once thawed, keep refrigerated and use within 48 hours.
Divide the daily portion into two meals for adult dogs and three for puppies. If your dog doesn’t finish a meal, refrigerate the remainder and serve it at the next feeding.
Do not leave food out for more than a short time, as raw food is more prone to bacterial growth.
3. Storage
Store packages in the freezer upon arrival. Shelf life is up to 6 months from the production date at -18°C (0°F). Once thawed, keep refrigerated and use within 48 hours.
4. Important Notes
Keep frozen until ready to use. Never leave raw food out overnight.
Do not serve if the packaging is damaged or if the food looks or smells off.
